One thing that incurable cancer has taken away from me is my whole career and so I’m unable to support myself independently. The financial toxicity of cancer is something I have struggled with for many years.

Most of my time is spent trying to stay as healthy as possible. My immunotherapy treatment is prolonging my life and so I try to help it along by keeping fit and looking after myself the best I can.

Surviving is now my full-time job but obviously this doesn’t pay any wages!

I suffer from a range of life-altering side-effects, infections and complications from having had surgery, chemo, radiotherapy and immunotherapy and so I navigate these on a day-to-day basis the best way I can.
